How to open file with targz extension?

Hello everyone,

I am now trying to install the evaluation version of HP OpenView NNM and got
a problem when I run the following command according to HP's installation
instruction:

#
# /tmp/DEPOT# which gunzip
/usr/local/bin/gunzip
# /tmp/DEPOT# cat /tmp/nnmeval.targz | crypt ovnnm | gunzip -c | tar xvf -
cat: cannot open /tmp/nnmeval.targz
gunzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: blocksize = 0
#

The 'ovnnm' is the password HP provided. I am working under Solaris 2.6. The
file extension is .targz, not .tar.gz

Anyone can help? Thanks a lot!
