Upgrading Solaris 9 from 9/04 to 9/05 with patches

Security patched up to date to Solaris 9 9/05 and during the beginning of
the install it warns me that patch sets that are rev'd above 9/05 will be
removed. I'm not aware of any specific newer patches that we need to make
the system boot and, providing we get a good boot, we'll reapply our most
recent R&S patches, bringing them back up to date. Other than ensuring we
have a full backup, should I be any more cautious about this than my plan of
proceeding (to just go through with it and update patch on reboot)?
