DPMS dtlogin screen

how can I configure my Solaris 7 SPARC boxes to power down the screen via
DPMS while on the login screen ?
Right now, I can use the xset +dpms in my Xstartup script so that DPMS
will be used when users are logged on, but it has no effect on the dtlogin
screen. Given the fact that all those computers sit at the login screen
each night and week-end, we could be more environmentally friendly by
power saving them.
