DPMSSet errors filling up Xerrors

2007-12-24 21:54:00

System -- Sun UE250, Solaris 5.8 Generic_108528-12

I'm getting the following lines logged to /var/dt/Xerrors multiple times
a second.

DPMSSet: Invalid argument
Power management problems
DPMSSet: Invalid argument
Power management problems
DPMSSet: Invalid argument
Power management problems

When I log in on the console the file gets zero'd as I'd expect but
soon after I log out the file starts growing again. None of the
power management software is configured or even running that I can see.
lsof reports the following procs have the file open:

COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE/OFF NODE NAME
dtlogin 336 root 2w VREG 85,27 48682088 280026 Xerrors
Xsun 15308 root 2w VREG 85,27 48681620 280026 Xerrors
dtlogin 15309 root 2w VREG 85,27 48681620 280026 Xerrors
fbconsole 15317 root 2w VREG 85,27 48681620 280026 Xerrors
dtgreet 15329 root 2w VREG 85,27 48681620 280026 Xerrors

Anybody have any ideas? What do I need to turn off or configure? TIA.

Jon
