Sun Cluster 3.2 and Quorum Server

Was reading the release notes in Sun Cluster 3.2 and noticed you don't need
a shared quorum disk like you did in 3.1.

Has anybody used this method in a 2 cluster node?
Does it perform better than the old quorum device on shared storage?
