Solaris 8 printing problems

Dear managers, I have one LaserJet 5MP that is connected to an ultra 5
running solaris 8 via parallel port. Recently I tried to configure this
laser using "lpadmin -p hp5mp -v /dev/ecpp0 -T hplaserjet -I PCL5", after
that I ran "lpc" to get the status of the printer. The "lpc" gave me the
following message:

lpc> status
hp5mp:
queueing is enabled
printing is enabled
1 entry in spool area
waiting for hp5mp to become ready (offline?)
lpc>

My question is, what I need to do to get the printer online?
