Permissions on NFS mounted directories

2007-12-25 11:47:00

Thanks to:

Andy `speed-racer' Wagliardo <awagliar@hubcap.core-dump.com>,

"Cristian Martinez T." <spy@inf.utfsm.cl>

Ian Camm <icamm@sse.eu.sony.co.jp>,

Jay Holt <jholt@pdc.com>,

Richard Snyder <rsnyder@eos.hitc.com>,

rnapholz@is.usp.com

for their responses. (I appoligize if I missed someone.)

None of the suggestions worked (and the only one not taken care of below

was to verify that the permissions on the mount points matched -- they

did.)

The problem auto-magically disappeared today. Strange.

Again. Thanks for your help. My original two postings follow:

To live only for some future goal is shallow. It's the sides of the

mountain which sustain life, not the top. Here's where things grow.
