StorEdge 3310 - mpxio/traffic manager possible?

We have a V240 with
Solaris 8
StorEdge PCI Dual Ultra3 SCSI Host Adapter, X6758A
connecting to a
StorEdge 3310 with dual scsi controller
and am wanting to use multipathing.
I've configured the SE3310 so that it presents the same volumes via multiple scsi id's

The docs talk about VERITAS Dynamic Multi-Pathing (DMP) but for cost reasons I'm
not eager to buy DMP.
Is it possible to do Multi-Pathing using Sun Storage Traffic Manager Software (MPXIO)
The SE3510 works with mpxio but costs more.
