Memory Limitations on Solaris 2.5.1

Hi

I have been told by the System Administrator here that there is a memory limitation of 4GB on a Sun E3000 system running Solaris 2.5.1.

The Sun web site says that Sun E3000 can support upto 6GB memory. But the system adminstrator here is saying otherwise. He says that this 4GB memory limitation is due to the OS (Solaris 2.5.1).

I am not sure as to whom to believe. Please HELP me out.
