Changing The Screen Resolution On My Common Desktop Environment.

2007-12-24 20:12:00

Hi,

I've been trying to change the resolution on the CDE for my Solaris 2.6.

I've run the "eeprom output-device=3Dscreen:r1024x768x60" command and
rebooted and also tried changing the resolution from the HaltMode
prompt. But every time the CDE logs in I get the same resolution.

Does the CDE have any startup file that I have to update ? I've looked
everywhere for the solution for this problem and have always come up
just short. This is quite frustrating just because of the simplicity of
the problem. It's making me feel quite stupid.

Can anybody bail me out ?

Thanks a lot,
