Default boot-device question

I mirrored the root partition on my E280R using Disksuite and when I
rebooted, the eeprom says the following
boot-device=/pci at 8,600000/SUNW,qlc at 4/fp at 0,0/disk at w2100002037423d22,0:a disk
Instead of
diag-device=disk disk1 cdrom net
which is what I have on a similar system mirrored similarly. Any ideas why?
