i've tried, repeatedly, to install and reinstall gnome 2. All the components seem to be there... but nothing is added to the session menu on startup. Can anyone tell me
a) how to start it from the command line from a failsafe login?
or
b) what files should have been installed to make the dtlogin session thing work properly, and where i might find them.
