TRY AGAIN - E250 faulty, but which part? (Complete)

2007-12-25 1:50:00

Hello All,

I am getting exactly the same error on running the diagnostics for my E250
running Solaris 8.

I am able to boot the system in single user mode. However /var directory is
empty.
Rebooting gives an error indicating that /var/adm/utmpx cannot be accessed.

Can somebody shed some light on this ?
Is this is disk problem ? Can it be fixed ?

Any suggestions/ideas/RTFMs appreciated.
TIA,
Samir
