Hi Gurus,
I need help with the following issue:

I have solaris 8 servers that use passwd and shadow files for user
accounts.
I dont use nis or any name service.
The solaris servers also run samba.

I now have to change many users passwords on each server for unix and samba
every 30 days.

This is too much work to do by hand.

I also have a windows 2000 ldap server for windows accounts.

Is it possible to have solaris use the windows ldap server for my unix
users passwords and samba passwords?

How can i set this up, i have never used ldap before?

Is there a free version of ldap?
