PCNFS - printing from a pc to a system SunOS 5.2

Thank you Andrew Cogswell for responding to my query and solving the

problem. He wrote:

Check your permissions for /dev/null, it should be 777 or 666.

As /dev/null is a linked file to /devices/pseudo/mm:null, this should be 666.

Both owned by root.

I found my /dev/null link ok but my /devices/pseudo/mm:null had a permission

of 600 and owned by lp. How this happened i do not know? Once i changed it to

andrew's suggestion i printing from a PC using PC-NFS works just fine now.
