Netra X1

I have three Netra X1s that is running Solaris 8. At times they seem to
disappear off the network for minutes. You cannot ping them, telnet, rlogin
nothing. Then suddenly they reappear and all is well. No sign of any problems,
did not reset as uptime is still showing days or even months.
There are other devices on the switch that is not affected and since this is a
intermitting problem with only one of the three boxes being affect at any time
the LAN guys ruled out the switch as the culprit and are pointing to the NIC
on the SUN boxes.
Is there any suggestions any ideas?
