I found the solution last night by using and old Pentium 100 that used
to run Solaris 2.6 and 7 on IDE.
The problem is solve by doing this:
On the AHA-2940AU, there is an config utility. By going in the config
utility, go in
"Advanced Configuration Options" and then the option "BIOS Support for
INT13 Extension" is "enabled" by default. I've disabled that option and
it's working !!!
I've also upgraded my ASUS P2B-F BIOS version to the latest version 1012
(03/03/2000) but I don't really know if this is part of the solution or
not.
