Solaris 8, priority paging and VMM parameters

In the Sun blueprint paper "Sun/Oracle Best Practices", http://www.sun.com/blueprints/0101/SunOracle.html,
it was recommended for pre-Solaris 8 systems that priority paging
be enabled and that other virtual memory parameters be set:
set priority_paging=1
set fastscan=131072
set maxpgio=65536
With Solaris 8, the priority_paging setting is no longer needed
or valid. Would the other settings, for fastscan and maxpgio,
still be useful, especially for an Oracle database server?
