O/T Sun USB keyboard under Windows XP

Sorry if this offends anyone, but have been asked by a user if this is
possible!
He is using a Sun USB keyboard on his Windows XP system and wants to know if
(and how) you can assign the function keys to Windows functions. I do not
know where to start, so any info would be really useful.
