Useradd Problems.

Hi everybody!
I'm having problems with the "useradd" command.
If I try to add an user id with more than 8 letters I got the following
message:

"UX: useradd: eduardosanchezmora name too long."

Anyone know what can I do?
I'm using solaris 8 on an Ultra 5, recommended patch from sun installed.
