Single sign-on solutions?

Guru's,

I am researching on single sign-on solutions at this
moment and specifically I am looking at the solutions
from Microsoft and the one from SUN Microsystems
simply because we already have AD in place and we are
also working on migrating to Iplanet directory
services.

I'd like to find out what people have to say about
those solutions, and if they have done it, maybe some
brief ideas about how easy/hard can that be
implemented?
