I should have been a little clearer in my post- I've enabled 64-bit mode
before (anyone interested in doing so can go to

I was mostly looking for gotchas (missing packages, etc.) when upgrading
Solaris 7 to include 64-bit support. The main concern expressed by responders
seemed to be the patch levels of the packages being installed. I'll take that
into account when performing the upgrade. I'll post an after action report
when finished.
