Solaris authentication to Microsoft Active Directory

Is there a way to have Solaris 8/9 users login to their unix desktops and
authenticate to Microsoft Active Directory? If so, is this a simple setup?
Does the client only need Kerberos to authenticate to AD? Any pros and/or
cons?
