StorEdge Traffic manager and Third Party Devices

to be handled by Sun's StorEdge Traffic Manager.
I've tried just about every possibilty of vendor/product and spaces -
all to no avail.
Has anyone had any success in getting these (or any other type of disk) to be
recognised by Traffic Manager? - and if so, how?
