Missconfigured SDLT 600 Drive

I've just take control of a new Sun Box. It has a SDLT 600 drive, but
when I'm tryng to make some backups on it always on restore I always
obtain garbage.
After a few checks I suspect that I have a missconfigured /kernel/drv/st.conf
I can4t find the documentation for that drive between the box docs. Can
anybody give me any tip? or better can anybody send me a
/kernel/drv/st.conf of a box runnig solaris 8 or 9 with that drive
running?
