Thanks to all those who replied. This is a partial list. Sorry if I missed

The basic answer was to copy master:/var/yp/<domainname> to

slave:/var/yp/<domainname>. That is exactly what I ended up doing, after

updating the ypservers map on the master to include the slave server.
