SCSI Error

2007-12-24 20:38:00

Hi all,

I have sparc workstations and one of them is hosted as a web server
It has 3 SCSI HDD with 17 Gb each hosted on target 1,2,3
as c2t1d0s2/c2t2d0s2 & c2t3d0s2

On resuming boot process I get the following error

WARNING: /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1/scsi at 1,1 (glm3)
Disconnected command timeout for Target 1.0
WARNING: /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1/scsi at 1,1/sd at 1,0 (sd47)
offline

/dev/rdsk/c2t1d0s6: I/O error
WARNING: /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1/scsi at 1,1/sd at 1,0 (sd47)

can't open /dev/rdsk/c2t1d0s6
WARNING: /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1/scsi at 1,1/sd at 1,0 (sd47)

/dev/rdsk/c2t1d0s6: CANT CHECK FILESYSTEM
/dev/rdsk/c2t1d0s6: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY ; RUN FSCK MANUALLY

With such error messages it allows to mount other disks/partitions
On manual fsck to the said filesystem, it says
Cannot read block 400 and hangs there for more than 2 hrs for which I have
to abort the fsck process

It specifies on the timeout feature.
Can you please help me on this, as very important installation is there
which supports B2B site
I need to get it up soon. Please specify how atleast i can recover the
data.

Thanks in Advance. I shall definitely summarize.
