Network tool ?

people like me), that will monitor the traffic between to ip addresses,
and give me stats on it ? (for Solaris 9) - in terms of throughput
per second, errors, etc.
I don't want to rely on the stats received from the network guys, I want
to see for myself what the traffic between my SUN boxes are.
