Linux 2.6.10 on SUN e450 -> no serial console?

Hello,
i just wanted to test Linux 2.6 (gentoo) on my Sun e450. With kernel 2.4.28 i had no problem to get my serial console workin but since i installed kernel 2.6 i lost my serial console. Can anybody tell me what i need to have compiled into the kernel to get my console working?
Has anybody tested Reiser4 on Sparc64?
