Linux PC as X-Terminal

In short, yes---it is emminently doable. The key is telling the X

server to query for or look for remote xdm processes as outlined in

the xdm manpage under XACCESS (or ACCESS CONTROL; I forget).

Several people think that I am crazy for wanting to administer Linux

boxes instead of using X-Terminals which I can plug in and forget.

Well, I plan on NFS mounting most everything, so I will centralize the

Linux machines as much as possible and minimize the admin overhead for

myself. We'll see how it goes.
