collecting Operational Performance Measures

performance measures? We have various systems, such as DNS servers, where
we can
easily collect the hardware and OS performance measures and send them to
measurement
collection platforms, but getting the data from a system like DNS isn't
quite as
straightfoward. For instance, we can easily collect DNS stats and put them
into
comma delimited files, but getting them to our measurement collection
platform is
another matter. I thought the Sun Management Center might be useful for
something
like this, since it has a developer's environment which (allegedly) enables
customers
to create modules for their specific environments. But I don't have any
experience
with this tool or know whether or not to believe the claims. Any thoughts?
