System reboots after FATAL error

2007-12-24 19:07:00

We have a Sun Enterprise 3500 running Solaris 2.6 and is fairly
up to date on patches. Over the past two evenings the system has
rebooted with the following error messages in /var/adm/messages:

unix: cpu0: SUNW,UltraSPARC-II (upaid 6 impl 0x11 ver 0x20 clock 336 MHz)
unix: cpu1: SUNW,UltraSPARC-II (upaid 7 impl 0x11 ver 0x20 clock 336 MHz)
unix: ^MSunOS Release 5.6 Version Generic_105181-19 [UNIX(R) System V Release 4.0]
unix: Copyright (c) 1983-1997, Sun Microsystems, Inc.
unix: mem = 2097152K (0x80000000)
unix: avail mem = 2060328960
unix: System booting after fatal error FATAL

This is followed by the normal startup messages.

Are there any suggestions on how to determine what caused the
fatal error FATAL and how to prevent it?

Sunsolve does not have much on such a generic error message.
We plan to enable savecore, but I am not confident that this will
help much.

I will summarize...and thanks in advance.
