SCSI transport failed: reason 'timeout': giving up

Hi,

I have StorEdge L280 with 8 slots. I manually loaded one of the tapes in.
When I dumped , ufsdump 0uvf /dev/rmt/1m /var, it got a error message which did not dump:

Need to restart YES/NO

and when I look at the /var/adm/messages, I found an error :

SCSI transport failed: reason 'timeout': giving up

Any idea & how to diagnose it, please help.
