Solaris On Intel

Hi All,
I have been trying to install Solaris on Intel platform. The Display is on
i815 and hence I chose
the normal VGA compatible with 640x480.
a) But this is not quite convincing to see the monitor display in
non-satisying manner. I wish to
know if there are any patches available at xfree86.org but didn't find
much.
Any other solution?
b) Basically I had worked on Linux and I must say that its only an
experience of month or two on
solaris. I am also facing problems in getting connected to the network. It
some how just doesn't
work. Need some help on this one too.
c) I guess the third query would be solved once the first query is solved.
Since when i try to
install from the Sun Companion CD it gives an error of incompatible color
and such.
