Symbol referencing error.

Dear Sun Managers

The specification of my system is SunOS 5.7 Generic_106541-22 sun4u sparc

SUNW,Ultra-5_10". During installation of the package 'O' (OPACS), I used the

command make.I got the error:-

"ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors.

No output written to ../SunOS/XzPlotterT.exe".

The PATH set on my system is " /opt/SUNWspro/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:/usr/local/bin:

/export/home/cern/2001/bin:/opt/emacs/src:/usr/dt/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/ucb:/etc:

/usr/sbin:.". The same error I also got when I used gmake.

Can you say, what is symbol referencing error?
