SDS Mirroring OS and using soft partitions?

of course we don't want to run into the seven slice limit so we are
wondering if we could use soft portioning to do this... We are using
Solaris 10 and wondering if there are any limitations when it comes to
what partitions can and can't be soft mirrored. I am assuming / is one
of the ones that can not be mirrored but can someone who has done this
or tested this confirm?
