Lock out users after # login failures

The concensus of 2 replies is that NO, there are no standard Solaris features that will disable an account after # login failures.

Thanks to Joe Fletcher and Martin Hepworth, who suggested running Trusted Solaris, or running Tru64 on an Alpha platform, running on HP, running on VMS ( I wish! ), using NIS+ (not an option here) or looking at a product called BoKS.
