DHCP/BOOTP help

2007-12-25 11:30:00

Thanks to Sebastian Benoit for suggesting the Internet Software

Consortium's version of dhcp (http://ftp.sendmail.org/isc/dhcp.html). I

downloaded and configured this after briefly skimming over the

documentation.

Thanks also to Mike Carney and Dave Miner at east.sun.com for directing me

to the correct sun manual (TCP/IP and Data Communications Administration

Guide). I suspect that with this manual and the experience using the ISC

version I should be able to quickly configure the Sun version of dhcp with

bootp.
