Workstation Console

I know to use serial port terminal console, you will
have to disconnect keyboard. This is a Sun
workstation with a Cisco terminal server, no PCs, no
Hyper Terminal.
In a situation that it absolutely needs keyboard to be
connected, is it possible I still somehow have remote
connection through serial port terminal console?
