Ultra 5...40 GB HDD Seagate

Questin : Can I put 40 GB HD as Master in Ultra 5 ?
Can some one elaborate ?...What I am doing wrong
I am trying to install Master 40 GB seagate
(ST340014A) on Ultra 5 having OBP 3.12 using Cable
Select Jumper and Sun IDE cable...
OK> probe-ide
Only got CDROM Drive
ok> boot cdrom -s
check in dev or format nothing
ok> boot cdrom
try to install solaris, first get this
error UE Error : AFSR 0x4100ff... 0 Memmom Dimm4
I am sure my memory is fine than Signal 11, exit.
