2.7 Features

I'm really sorry for the delay, I forgot until someone inquired again :)

Hi all. I was inquiring about the upcoming Solaris 2.7 release, and apparently

you need special beta-test priviledges to review it currently. All this infor

mation is apparently unconfirmed. But I did get a general idea:

- New FTP support:

The new ftpd is modeled after wu-ftpd, but better. It can be

configured without recompiling the whole damn thing using a simple

script. Quite an improvement over wu-ftpd, if you ask me.

As for adding users - no tools beyond admintool, but beyond that you'd

probably better write your own scripts for adding large batches of users or

use NIS+ anyway.

- 64 bit support

 See: http://www.sun.com/developers/64bit

- traceroute is now included
