Boot from external disk on Sunblade 1000

Hi,

Pls advise on booting from an external disk on Sunblade 1000 running
Solaris 8.
I cloned the system disk to an external disk and intended to boot from
this disk in case the internal system disk crashes. I have run
"installboot" on the disk. The device address of the external disk is:
/pci at 8,700000/scsi at 6,1/sd at 4,0

In the "ok" prom, I "setenv boot-device /pci at 8,700000/scsi at 6,1/sd at 4,0"
but the system wouldn't boot.

Pls advise on the setting on booting from this external disk.

Thank you in advance.

Regards
Alan
