Calcomp Plotters

We have a HP-UX machine running a calcomp plotter queue since ages. There are
filters set up on this plotter (fpfilter) on the same machine and they seem to
be only HP-compatible. My aim is to move this queue off to a Solaris box
(2.8)(idea is to make this machine a print server with multiple plotter /
printer queues). I couldn't find any compatible filter for Solaris > 2.4 on
their website and calling them resulted in a "we no more support UNIX". Does
any one out there have a solution? I have exhaustively searched google to no
avail. Can anybody please help me.
