writing device drivers

it about 8 hours ago, but it does not appear, so I
assume I sent to wrong address.
My question is I am looking for information about
writing device drivers for Solaris platform ( x86 or
Sparc ). I have some free time, and think it would be
fun to do this.
I would aprreciate a lot for any lead such as URL,
books, documentations ... about this topic, or any of
your advice.
I checked suned.sun.com for their courses, they do
have it but I write it for fun, and their prices make
me not fun at all :-)
