Ultra AXmp cdrom

2007-12-25 3:12:00

All,
Thanks for your advice on this issue. As a follow up, two things should be
noted. First, when I installed the Solaris 9 OS, there was only one hdd in
the system. I replaced that disk with another which I installed the Debian
distro on. When I went to install Aurora I added the original drive back
however, I added it as disk0 instead of disk1. When I set the Solaris 9
disk back to disk1 and executed boot disk1, I received two (sd16) unexpected
bus free and two (sd16) incomplete after which the system booted normally.
Upon executing a boot -rv the system reported that it could not power up the
cdrom drive. This, I take it, means the scsi cdrom drive is toast.
Secondly, never underestimate the stupidity of the user. ;-)
Thanks again,
