HP SureStore E (AutoRaid) on SUN Servers

We've a recently retired HP server that has a newer RAID box (actually a HP
AutoRaid....) that has an Ultra Wide Differential conection. We plan to
utilize this storage on a SUN box sans the HP RAID tools supposedly needed
to manage/monitor the RAID (w/c can be done fromt he LCD panel anyway...) My
inquiry -- has any anyone tried this yet or any experiences, thoughts on the
matter?
