Performance Problem with Solstice Backup 6.0

The backup of 100Gb data takes 5 hours to
complete at a speed of 5 Mbps while we should get
speeds more than 12-13Mbps .Need help
Following is the hardware
ATL P2000 with 6 DLT8000 drives ( SCSI) with hardware
compression enabled
E250 (SBU server with diff SCSI cards and Solaris 8)
Network -10/100 Ethernet
Tried the following
1) Udated the latest jumbo patch for SBU 6.0
2) Updated te latest patch for st.conf file
3) Modified the st.conf file for DLT8000
I am suspecting the drive firmware/controller
firmware.
Awaiting some possible solutions to this one,i will
summarise
