I finally found the answer after looking a little more...
Under Solaris 2.5, you need to go under /platform/i86pc/kernel/drv and like
under Solaris 2.4, you need to uncomment the COM2 line in the file asy.conf.
After that, you can do drvconfig and drvlinks. This should do the trick...
If not, probably you COM2 port is disable, you need to go the BIOS setup and
reactivate it. After that , do a boot -r.
Thank's again to

Now here's my original posting:
Hi Sunners,
How can I define /dev/term/b under Solaris 2.5 x86. I know that under Solaris
2.4 for x86, I needed to update the file /kernel/drv/asy.conf and reboot and
I was able to use COM2...But that file is no longer there !!!!
Thnak's.
Simon.
