snmpwalk:Timeout error please help me

Thanks for your help.I gave this path in all users .profile file this is working fine but root i am not able to access for root and also i gave LD LIB path in roots .profile file and one more problem when i gave the below command from users login I am getting snmpwalk: timeout error.Please help me this is very strange problem for me
$ snmpwalk hostname public system
snmpwalk: Timeout
