Tape Library Management Software

We just acquired an L700 library for use in our all Solaris 2.6 environment
composed of an E10K and several mid-range servers. The Library has 10 SCSI
drives (DLT) which is bridged to a Brocade Switch out to Jaycor cards
(FABRIC availability). This will in essence allow for a TAN of sorts (Tape
Area NetWork) and do dynamic drive sharing.
We currently are using GEMs SmartMedia along with our Legato Infrastructure
(6.x). Would anyone in this list point us in the right direction whether
we'd still want to proceed with this setup or consider other Library
Management and/or Backup software? Also, any of you have had any experience
using SmartMedia in your site? A list perhaps for SmartMEdia/Legato?
